However, they will save a lot of time, which is something you should consider.  

If you decide to go free, you will probably wind up aimlessly bouncing from one resource to another. You might end up out of focus and without a defined path or goal. Paid online courses put everything in a well-structured bundle in one place to help you stay focused.
